Since 2017, established and is the CEO of the StArtBio PC company, which specializes in the field of molecular and cellular diagnosis of allergic diseases and respiratory pathogens. She is an expert in functional genomics and proteomics analysis due to her master's degree in Molecular Medicine at the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Her PhD studies focused on the immune response of macrophages under infection with Mycobacterium paratuberculosis, a bacterium associated with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs). In recent years, her main research activities have focused on the interaction between human respiratory pathogens (viruses and bacteria), and natural immunity. She has participated as a principal researcher in European programs: NANOMYC, MIDAS, PREDICTA, iFaam, CURE.
