Maria Savva is a resident in Αllergy and Clinical Immunology for children and adults at the Allergy Unit of the 2nd Department of Pediatrics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at “P. & A. Kyriakou” Children's Hospital. She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is currently a PhD candidate, focusing her research on the characteristics and clinical course of atopic dermatitis in childhood.
As part of her training, she is actively involved in the clinical care and research of pediatric allergic diseases. She also participates in clinical studies and ongoing research projects within the Unit. In parallel, she contributes to the writing of scientific articles published in international journals.

She is also engaged in the “Atopic Dermatitis School,” an educational initiative organized by the Unit, which supports children with atopic dermatitis and their families, aiming to improve disease management and enhance their quality of life.
She is a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and has presented various studies at multiple national and international allergy congresses, receiving awards for her scientific contribution.
She holds certifications in Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP E6), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
She speaks Greek, English, German, and French.
