Adriana Psaraki is a postdoctoral researcher at the Allergy Unit of the Second Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens, NKUA and holds a PhD from the Medical School, NKUA. Her research interest focused on the therapeutic effect of AF-MSCs secretome and exosomes in Regenerative Medicine.

She completed her basic studies at the Department of Biology, NKUA in 2016 and then worked on the analysis of molecular markers in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer samples at the 1st Laboratory of Pathology, Medical School, NKUA.


This was followed by her master degree entitled as the "Applications of Biology in Medicine", NKUA. Meanwhile, in 2023, studying the biological role of MFGE-8 derived from MSC-exosomes in models of Acute Liver Failure, she finished her doctoral thesis. During her research activity she has undertaken the coordination of laboratory protocols as well as the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students. She also participated in trainings at FORTH of Crete, UOM in Malta and Universidad de Coimbra in Portugal, as well as, in various conferences with important distinctions: Best Oral Presentation Awards, Panhellenic Gene and Cell Therapy Congress 2022 and 2023, 2ndst Best Oral Presentation Award, 45th Panhellenic Medical Congress, 2019 and Basic Research Award, 38th Panhellenic Gastroenterology Congress, 2018. She has also worked as a medical writer for EMA dossiers.

She has published 8 papers, with 175 references and h=5 index (Research Interest Score=88.9, Research Gate). This period investigates the role of indoor air pollutants in epithelial cells derived from patients with allergic rhinitis.
