Spyridon Bekiaris is a Statistician with postgraduate studies in Biostatistics. His academic interest focuses on topics in Statistics, Biostatistics, and Data Management. He was born in August 1993 in Athens, Greece.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the School of Finance and Statistics – Department of Statistics and Insurance Science at the University of Piraeus, during the period 2012–2016.


Between 2017 and 2019, he pursued a Master's specialization in Biostatistics, at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics.

Regarding his scientific work, he completed a postgraduate thesis titled: "Time Series Analysis for Investigating the Short-Term Exposure to Air Pollutants in Greek Cities." At the same time, he delivered private lessons in Statistics, Probability, and Generalized Linear Models to University students, primarily from the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science (University of Piraeus).

Currently, he is working as a research associate at the research laboratory of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Unit of the 2nd Pediatric Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), serving as a Statistician and Data Manager. His work involves investigating the effects of pollutants, as well as other factors, on paediatric asthma.
