Dr. Aikaterini Petta (MD) is a resident doctor in Allergology and Immunology for Adults and Children in the Second Department of Pediatrics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She entered the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2015. She graduated in 2021 with honours (Grade 9/10) and she was awarded with a scholarship by “Antonis Papadakis” Foundation.
Later on, she was a Rural Doctor in General Hospital of Zakynthos (24/12/21-08/03/22). She continued her medical career as an Intern in Pediatrics in the Second Department of Pediatrics of “P. and A. Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital (01/04/22-01/04/23) and as an Intern in Internal Medicine in the First Department of Propaedeutic and Internal Medicine of “Laiko” General Hospital of Athens (01/04/23-01/04/24).
Since April 2024, she has been a resident in Allergology and Immunology for Children and Adults in the Allergy Unit of the Second Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens. She is also a member of the Medical Association of Athens, of the International Eosinophil Society and of the European Association of Allergy and Immunology (EAACI). Dr. Aikaterini Petta has participated with presentations in international medical congresses, among which is the European Congress of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) 2024. She has also a BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and an ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support ) certification.
