Maria Tsami is a specialist Allergist for children and adults. She is actively employed at the Allergy Department, 2nd Pediatric Clinic, P & A Kyriakou, Children's Hospital of Athens as a Consultant Allergist, and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Athens (NKUA) with a research object the respiratory allergy.
She offered her services as a primary care physician at the Health Center of Chalkiopouloi, Agrinio. In the framework of the Allergology specialty, she trained as a resident in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Preveza. She worked then as a primary care physician at the Health Center of Tropaia, Tripoli, Greece. She finally completed the specialization in the Allergy Department of Laiko General Hospital of Athens.
Subsequently, she was a Consultant Allergist in the Allergy Department of Sotiria Thoracic Diseases General Hospital of Athens and participated in research protocols related to asthma and urticaria.
She is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EEAKA), and the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). She has actively participated in national and international conferences with paper awards and invited presentations. She holds a diploma from the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and certification in the ICH Good Clinical Practice E6 (R2) standard for conducting clinical studies.
