Pantelis Christou is a Biologist with a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences. His academic background and interests are in Immunobiology and Biochemistry.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the Department of Biology of the University of Patras during 2017-2021 and continued his studies at the two-year Master’s program "Biomedical Sciences" at the Department of Medicine of the University of Patras during 2021-2023. During his studies, he also completed two three-month internships through the European Erasmus Placements program in Spain, one at the IDIBAPS Research Institute in Barcelona and one at the Department of Immunology of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Madrid.
He has participated in Panhellenic Conferences with poster presentations and has carried out auxiliary work in the laboratory demonstrations of the Biochemistry courses at the Department of Medicine of the University of Patras.
Regarding his scientific work, he has completed a research thesis at undergraduate level entitled "Study of leukocyte populations Oriolus oriolus Oriolus oriolus during spring migration" and at postgraduate level entitled "Specificity studies of nanoantibodies binding to their target-epitope in T lymphocytes". Still, he has joined during internships abroad in research projects related to Immunobiology and Biochemistry with the titles "Regulation of Lck kinase activity by PRL phosphatases" and "Leukocyte dysfunction in patients with liver diseases".
